In May 2026, CyberpunK returned to Yi-Shiue Junior High School to host the two-day CyberpunK Lighthouse STEM Camp for the third consecutive year. Under the motto "Lighting the Way to Future Innovators," the name "Lighthouse" (築光) embodies our core philosophy: To be the guiding beacon leading students toward the path of innovation. Throughout the camp, we welcomed 30 different students each day, engaging them in two challenge-based themes—"Tide Turners" and "Siege and Conquer"—designed to immerse them in the world of robotics through experiential learning.
(Lighting the Way to Future Innovators)
Drawing inspiration from FTC, we incorporated alliance-based collaboration and FIRST core values directly into the game. Working in teams and guided only by the game manual, students were encouraged to move beyond fixed assembly instructions and independently develop original robotic mechanisms of their own. From strategic planning to software refinement, the students demonstrated remarkable creativity within a limited timeframe, once again proving that open-ended design challenges can unlock immense engineering potential. Through the Lighthouse experience, every participant had the opportunity to construct not only robots, but also their own vision of an engineering future.
CyberpunK hopes to continue cultivating STEM education within schools and serve as the light that inspires more young students to step into the field of robotics.
